Every year, the global laboratory medicine community comes together as one at the ADLM (formerly AACC) Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo to collaborate and create system-wide changes that improve patient outcomes and quality of life for all. This year, we will have 2 systems from M2-Automation, the iONE-600, and the iFOUR. We will also have the new single-molecule detection system from iRiS Kinetics, and the MX-104, for the measurement of binding kinetics.

LRIG New England is a rapidly growing special interest group focused on laboratory automation. Our membership consists of scientists and engineers, primarily from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, with chapters across the US and in Europe. Our semi-annual regional meetings are informal and are intended to facilitate communication and to share current best practices and experiences in laboratory automation. Presentations and vendor exhibits cover such topics as high throughput screening, drug discovery, combinatorial chemistry, compound purification and distribution, data management, pharmaceutical dosage form, dissolution testing and product formulation along with others. Biophysics is an interdisciplinary science that includes researchers from many fields including math, biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, pharmacology, and materials sciences. The breadth of science and expertise from members around the world creates a dynamic community of sharing, learning, and networking. This is our 3rd year exhibiting at this show. We will show the iRiS Kinetics benchtop systems for the study of biomolecular interactions. The unique technology allows for the measurement of small molecule binding kinetics without the DMSO bulk effect seen with other techniques.
